You can travel to Galway from either Dublin or Shannon Airports.
Travelling to Galway from Dublin Airport
Dublin Airport is situated around 10 km north of Dublin city. There are a number of companies that provide coach travel
directly from Dublin Airport to Galway City.

Travelling from Dublin Airport to Dublin City
If you would prefer to travel from Dublin Airport to Dublin city before travelling to Galway, you can take a taxi to the city centre, but the special ‘Airlink’ bus is much cheaper and just as quick. It connects the Airport with Busáras (the central bus station in Dublin). The ‘Airlink’ bus will also leave you at Heuston train station in Dublin (if you are travelling to Galway by
train).
